Hello all,
My question is regarding the Teloc/Tiloc symbol that devotees wear on their forehead. I would like to get some more information on what this symbol specifically means and any other associations with it. I am considering getting a tattoo of this symbol but I want to be clear on it's meanings. Any information is helpful.

I was actually thinking about getting a tattoo of a tilak on my chest with some filigree surrounding it. To find out that it is actually one of the places where tilak is applied only serves as an affirmation for my devotion to lord vishnu.
