Many devotees ask me what color the deities eyes should be as I paint the temple deities, as well as personal deities. I would love to have more information about this, so I wouldn't be so ignorant...
I think Krsna's eyes are black, with the white portion tinged with red. Radharani's are gray I think... but I could be wrong. If anyone has info about this please post!

H H Gopal Krishna Maharaj's gorgeous neem gaur nitai.. his Gaur has blue eyes and nitai has brown eyes.. so my best friend (maharaj's disciple) who does a lot of deity painting for many many home deities always paints gaur nitai with that scheme..
